Tips to Create Recent Files Folder in Windows 8

Some of computer users may have the same problem is that they are unable to get their documents back when they accidentally save the files to the wrong place. In fact, it is very easy to find the files or folders back. In order to get the files back quickly, you can create a folder that displays the files you edit recently on the computer desktop. The following is detailed steps:

1. Right-click on your desktop, select New option and then choose Folder.

2. Open the folder you just created and select the scope of your search by clicking a directory in the left-hand column.

3. A new Search tab will appear at the top of the search window and you should see a Date modified button.

4.Click on the button and select This week or other options from the drop-down menu.

4. To narrow your search even further, click Kind, Size or Other properties to add more search files. Then click the Save search button.

5. Save the folder to your desktop or other locations.
