How to Pin Favorite Website Tile to Start Screen in Windows 8

Do you want to quickly access your favorite websites as soon as you log-in to your computer? You may be interested in this post that will discuss about how to pin your favorite website’s tile to the Windows 8 or 8.1 start screen.

If your browser is Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8, you may find that it is very easy to pin a website to the start screen. But in the Modern UI IE version, you need to open the website and right click the bottom menu bar and then take several steps to pin the website. Now we’ll show you how to pin a website tile to the start screen.

If you are using Desktop IE 11 version, you can open it and directly press Alt+T keys to open Tools.

Then click Add button after you confirm the website.

Go back to the start screen and open Apps to check the website app you just created.

Once you find it, you right-click it and select Pin to Start from the bottom menu.

Then you will now see the website tile pinned to your Windows 8.1 Start Screen.

If you are using Modern IE 11 version, you should open your favorite website in Modern IE first. Then you right click an empty space to open the bottom menu bar. After clicking Favorite link, you will see a Pin site option. Click the Pin site option and you will see three options.Select the icon of the website you wish and pin it to the start screen.
