How to Personalize the Size of Your Mouse Pointer

Can’t be satisfied with an itty-bitty mouse pointer on your Windows or Mac display? If you want to effectively save your eyesight, you can follow this tutorial to adjust the size of your mouse pointer.


For Windows 7 or 8

1. Open the Control Panel and click the Ease of Access. Then click the Change how your mouse works.

2. Choose from the menu of options for changing the size and color of the mouse pointers. For example, check the checkbox of Large White, click Apply > OK.

If you want to make the cursor more obvious, you can open Control Panel again and then click Hardware and Sound. Select the Mouse under Devices and Printers.

Go to Pointers tab, then select Magnified (system scheme) in the Scheme pull-down menu. When it is down, click Apply > OK.

For Mac

1. Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner to open the Apple menu, and select System Preferences.

2. Click the Accessibility icon and choose Display in the left column. Try moving the Cursor Size slider. When you do, the mouse cursor will start to grow and grow. When it is done, you just need to close the window.
