How to Add Your Name to Windows Taskbar

As we all know, we can make our computer more personalized by changing desktop background, Windows color and theme. But today, this Windows tutorial will show you how to display your name or your lover’s name to Windows Taskbar. So please follow the steps below to customize your PC if you want it to be cool.

For Windows 7

Open Start Menu and click Control Panel. Click Clock, Language and Region option, and select Region and Language.

Click Additional settings button, and then select Time tab.

Look at the Time formats section, and then add any name you desire to AM symbol and PM symbol on Customize Format window.

For Windows 8

Press Win + X keys to open the Power Task Menu and select Control Panel.

Click Region and the Region window will show up.

Click Additional settings button. Navigate to the Time tab, and then add any name you desire to AM symbol and PM symbol on Customize Format window.

When you finish the modification, you can click Apply -> OK button. Then your name will appear on the Taskbar.

Tips: If you don’t want to change the time format, you can click the Reset button to make it go back to default state.
